Shabbat is the Hebrew word for Saturday. So literally “Shabbat Shalom” is a wish for a “peaceful Shabbat” God is speaking to us and we have been grafted in. The problem is that you still think you are bound, but God has called you to be free. Enter in His rest.
Should we not learn how to speak like our King as the days are approaching?
God commands us to enter into his rest.
During Shabbat, we take time out from the busy workweek to light candles, eat a delicious meal with family and friends, perhaps attend services at the synagogue or just go for a long, leisurely walk. Shabbat is the Day of Rest. Shabbat happens each week from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. During Shabbat, we remember the story of creation from the Torah where God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th day.
Exodus 16:23
He told them, “This is what Adonai has said: ‘Tomorrow is a holy Shabbat for Adonai. Bake what you want to bake; boil what you want to boil; and whatever is left over, set aside and keep for the morning.’”
Exodus 16:26
Gather it six days, but the seventh day is the Shabbat — on that day there won’t be any.”
Exodus 31:13
“Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘You are to observe my Shabbats; for this is a sign between me and you through all your generations; so that you will know that I am Adonai, who sets you apart for me.
Isaiah 57:21
There is no shalom, says my God, for the wicked.
If we are not with God, that means we are with the wicked and there is no peace. Even with God, we are challenged on every side because satan rules the disobedience and war with the saints.
Ahavah Shalom
Love Peace
