Professional Numerology – Numerology: The Complete Guide By Matthew Oliver Goodwin Volumes 1 and 2

I recommend these books, if you have ever wanted to learn numerology to do a complete personality profile, relationship matching, analyzing the future, and much more. They are very in-depth, and go beyond just the basics of numerology. You will learn how the major numbers work together as a unit, producing a personality that combines the energies of the numbers. The personality of the person being read starts to come alive, showing you all of their positive and negative aspects.

These books are available at your local bookseller. If you are serious about taking your numerology readings to the next level, buy both Volume 1 and Volume 2. Volume 1 does a very good job of covering the basics of a personality reading. Volume 2 gets into advanced personality analysis, and into reading the past, present and future.

In the first section, Volume 1 starts by covering the basics of numerology. In the second section of Volume 1, you will learn about the four elements of the core personality – Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, and Birthday. The author shows you how to do a character delineation of the core elements: The harmony and discord that occurs between the different elements of the core. In the third section, he covers the character delineation using the modifiers, karmic debts, etc. You are shown how these different pieces of the puzzle come together to produce a profile of the person being read.

In these books, Matthew Goodwin explains how the different pieces of the puzzle come together with many examples of different birth dates and names. This gives you a very clear description of what these combinations of numbers produce in a person’s chart. He also shows how names are important in the personality makeup: What things you might want to consider when choosing a name for a child. You are setting the child’s expression to the world. Choose a name after careful analysis.

Volume 1 has reference charts at the back of the book that give a detailed explanation of each number’s usage. You will find that these reference charts make the look up of the meanings very easy when you are doing a numerology reading. The reference charts cover the following subjects:

  • The Numbers – basics
  • The Life Path
  • The Expression
  • The Soul Urge
  • The Birthday
  • The Aspects
  • The Karmic Debt
  • The Intensity Table
  • The Challenge/The Growth number
  • The Maturity Number
  • The First Letter
  • The First Vowel

Volume 2 also has reference charts at the back of the book that give a detailed explanation of each number’s usage. You will find that these reference charts make the look up of the meanings very easy when you are doing a numerology reading. The reference charts cover the following subjects:

  • The Numbers – advanced symbolism
  • The Life Path periods
  • The Pinnacles
  • The Personal / Universal year
  • The Essence
  • The Transits
  • The Personal Month / Personal Day
  • The Epicycle

The reference charts at the back of the books makes your learning numerology a lot easier. For example, if you are looking at the Aspects reference chart in Volume 1, you can easily compare the Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, and Birthday numbers to see what combinations are harmonious with each other. If too many of the core elements conflict with each other, the personality has many challenges ahead in order to be productive. When all of the numbers work in a common direction, the personality easily flows, making the life productive and inspiring.

You will find that constructing the charts as he shows in the books can take a lot of time. Eventually you will probably decide to purchase a numerology program that makes it easy to do a chart by just putting in the date of birth and the person’s full name. Not all numerology programs are created with all of the possible options that are explained in the books of this review. I suggest that you study the two volumes completely, and do a lot of charts by hand. Once you have a good understanding of what you will accept in a numerology program, then go on the internet and see what is available. Please stay away from the software programs that give you text print-outs of the reading. This is not the best way to do numerology, it doesn’t give a complete analysis, and you will probably be wasting your money. If you are handy with a computer, you can create your own program either in an Excel spreadsheet, visual basic, or by using C. By making your own program, you can be assured that all of the elements that are discussed in these two books can be included.

These books are not meant to just be read, but are intended to be studied. They are for the serious person who really wants to learn about how numerology works. Your hard work will be rewarded, and you will get a very good understanding of how numerology was intended to be used. In order to gain this understanding, it will be necessary to do a lot of readings. First do readings on people you are very familiar with: Their personality strengths and weaknesses. This work is necessary to understand the combinations of the numbers, and how they create unique personalities for each individual. In time with practice, you will be able to glance at a chart, and you will intuitively understand the personality of the person. Their strengths and weaknesses will be laid out on the chart in front of you. Then you can say to yourself – numerology really does work, and very well!
