There is reflection from the plastic so you have to imagine it without the shiny reflection. The colors are great. It is striped and there are geometric patterns as well which are in the inside and can’t be seen in the packaging but this is a real fun scarf.

Both the coat and book belonged to Albert Shaw.
coat measures 18″ armpit to armpit (double to 36″ for chest size), and 40″ across the hips, shoulder to shoulder across the top is 15.5″. The coat is lined all the way to the bottom.
coat is in excellent condition inside and outside. buttons are by Supreme Quality.
it has buttonholes on both sides of this double-breasted coat so it can be worn by men or women.
the name ‘A F Shaw is inside the coat as shown.
The book is Navigation and Nautical Astronomy by Dutton. It is last published in 1936. It has the handwritten name of Albert Shaw and the year 1937. The coat is assumed to be from the same year. The book has some separation of the spine. PRICE: $75
Vintage US NAVY PEA COAT DSA-1-4825 Sz 36R 100% Wool double-breasted Reefer excellent
This is a heavy wool in excellent cosmetic condition. Has all anchor buttons including the ones under the collar. Lining excellent with soldier’s name stenciled at bottom. Hang strap at top of inside is fully intact. no moth holes. pockets are lined in corduroy. Tag reads: “Coat, man’s wool Kersey Dark Blue E/M DSA-1-4825 Size 36R 100% wool” This is a beauty! I am told that the corduroy lined pockets indicate it is from the Viet Nam era. PRICE $60
