Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience working in sales, account management, strategy, or business development
- 3 years of experience in CTV video, OTT, or other advertising technology
- Experience with enterprise sales and managing partner relationships
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree
Understanding of the video and entertainment industry, key platforms, and trends (e.g., Free Ad Supported Television, Advertising Video On Demand, D2C, and CTV/OTT distribution) and online advertising * Ability to work analytically, including analyzing complex business opportunities across multiple business areas
- Ability to take initiative and operate in a rapidly changing and largely undefined space
- Passion for emerging video sectors

As Strategic Partner Lead for Video New Business, you will manage ad infrastructure and programmatic ad inventory partnerships with emerging Connected TV (CTV) apps and video partners to foster the development of the streaming ecosystem while cultivating relationships to identify our next set of strategic partners. You’ll set the strategic direction for each account, drive growth opportunities, and align internal stakeholders to execute on account priorities. You will also build long-lasting relationships with executives and operational leads at our Free Ad Supported Television (FAST) partners while staying close to emerging trends in the industry to help shape the strategy of our team.
In this role, you will apply your strategic acumen, product understanding, and industry and business development knowledge to expand Google’s partner base and business.

Responsibilities
- Source leads, develop relationships, build business cases, and close business with emerging video partners. Collaborate with department leadership to drive feedback to the business strategy and prioritize the pipeline.
- Develop a deep understanding of partner’s business, priorities, and challenges and work with Google leaders on overall partner strategy.
- Manage and grow business, product adoption, and relationships with emerging video partners.
- Discuss term sheets and manage internal approvals processes, agreement discussions, and compliance processes.
- Understand the full scope of partner business generation and ad serving, including inventory trends, direct and indirect channel priorities, other participants used and how ad business generation fits into larger business strategy.
