Responsibilities:
The role consists of delivering functional IT Support and technical IT Production services to the G10 Rates business in the Americas as follows:

• 1st and 2nd line technical and functional support to the ION solutions for Global Markets G10 Rates Front Office desks.
• Management of projects and coordination of Prioritization meetings with the Business sponsors.
• Building a rock-solid relationship between the G10 Rates Client Team and the G10 Rates businesses, Development, and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring of the platform’s availability, proactively preventing problems and responding to incidents when they occur in a timely manner. Perform problem analysis, managing platform changes while ensuring minimal impact to the end-users.
• Following all Client processes and procedures making sure it is understood, followed, and implemented (Incident Management, Change, Release Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management, etc…).
• Effective communication of the platform status including providing ETAs for solutions.
• Regularly review and improvement of the checks done by the team (SOD/EOD checks …).
• Coordination and Participation in the UAT phase of the major deliveries.
• Enforcing segregation of duties and the Security guidelines required by the relevant Control groups.
• Ensuring the G10 Rates platform has a reliable BCP solution. Testing/participation in BCP exercises.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with minimum of 6 years of experience.
Experience in IT Support, BA, or development in Financial or Global Markets technology.
Strong experience in supporting ION electronic trading flows.
Strong knowledge of Fixed Income financial products such as bonds, futures, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Motivation to work under own initiative whilst being a team player.
Strong knowledge of the Global Markets business.
