Responsibilities
Major Trauma, Burn and Stroke Center in the Bronx looking for a full time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team.
- Perform physical therapy clinical tasks including initial evaluation, treatment, re-evaluation and discharge summaries.
- 24 bed acute Inpatient Rehab Unit, Bedside therapy and outpatient therapy services.
- Keep patient records and participate in Department statistical surveys, performance improvement projects, in-services and patient rounds.
- Adhere to all standards and/or regulations of the Joint Commission, NYDOH and other appropriate regulatory bodies.
- Keep current with and follow all regulations relating but not limited to, HIPAA, Medicare, NYS Medicaid, medical recordkeeping and cliniolegal issues.
Qualifications
- NYS licensed Physical Therapist
- Experience preferred but not required
- Hospital or ortho/sports experience an advantage
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to hire
