Wealth Management Professionals provide operational support to the portfolio managers and sales teams in the implementation of new client accounts, ongoing lifecycle servicing of existing accounts, business analytics, risk management, and project management of new business initiatives. PWM
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
Managed Strategies
The Managed Strategies group sits within Consumer and Wealth Management (“CWM”) and partners with advisors and their clients to identify investment objects and implement differentiated equity strategies in order to tailor portfolios to meet both strategic and tactical goals. The team offers a comprehensive platform, specializing in structured investments, option overlay and systematic wealth transfer strategies.
Equity Structuring
The Equity Structuring group (“EQS”) sits within Consumer and Wealth Management (“CWM”) and delivers tailored and holistic equity-based solutions to global wealth management and cross-divisional clients through customized structuring and execution services. EQS provides clients with strategic and thematic investment opportunities across a variety of structured note implementations.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Managed Strategies and Equity Structuring is looking for an Associate to work as a Wealth Management Professional (WMP) providing operational support.
Principal Responsibilities
- Leverage your operational background and experience to contribute to a growing global business
- Enhance your business acumen for equity market dynamics as it pertains to account management, client servicing, and building processes for new business initiatives
- Liase with portfolio managers to support trade and risk management functions
- Work with operations, technology, legal and compliance to support the Managed Strategies and Equity Structuring groups
- Develop working relationships and serve as key informational contact with advisor teams across CWM
- Create, maintain, and monitor key business metrics across the global product suite
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2-5 years of operational experience preferred
- Process-oriented with ability to think independently and analytically
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Motivated team player who takes initiative and has ability to work autonomously
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Series 7 and 63 required (to be obtained within first three months)
