PWM
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
PWM Digital Assets
PWM Digital Assets is a multi-disciplinary team focused on defining and driving Private Wealth Management’s Digital Assets Strategy. The team seeks to provide digital asset content and services to PWM clients, expand the Digital Assets platform offerings for eligible PWM clients, and aims to drive innovation across our businesses via deployment of enterprise blockchain-based solutions. The team partners with the Firmwide Digital Assets team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to initiative implementation.
We cover a wide spectrum of initiatives in the digital space and offer the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a balance of strategy and execution, alongside interaction with teams across PWM and Goldman Sachs.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
PWM Digital Assets is looking for an Associate to help execute work PWM’s Digital Assets strategy.
Principal Responsibilities
- Work as an integral member of the team with a primary focus on engaging with advisors and clients to provide education and content on the digital assets ecosystem and the firm’s offerings
- Manage streamlined client communication and onboarding for investment products accessible on the digital asset platform
- Create internal and external presentation materials focused on education, training and suitability considerations
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business including product teams, legal/compliance and operations, to ensure collaboration and best-execution across a variety of initiatives
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4-5 years working within financial services, technology, or in a strategy consulting role
- Passionate about the potential of blockchain / distributed ledger technology / digital assets
- Motivated team player who can adapt and contribute in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Track record of effectively managing multiple projects at the same time and ability to balance innovative / strategic focus with tactical implementation / execution
- Comfort speaking with high profile clients and advisors on a regular basis
- SIE, Series 7 and 66 preferred
