Responsibilities

• Prepare division staff schedules
• Review, approve/deny and sign off on leave of absence requests, including CME
• Review, approve/deny and sign off on time sheets and session sheets
• Prepare, monitor and follow up on division Performance Indicators
• Prepare strategic planning for the Division
• Prepare monthly schedules for teaching of students and residents
• With the Chairman, establish services capital equipment needs and capital equipment purchasing plan
• Acts as direct supervisor and consultant for all staff assigned to Services
• Participates in the Department’s Quality Assessment and Improvement Committee

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Family Medicine

• Possess or eligible for a New York State License

Demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities are essential including personnel, finance, quality and clinical resource management

Maturity in clinical Family Medicine practice

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required prior to hire
