Did you know that Ladino is a language that draws from Hebrew & Spanish? Ladino has been spoken for hundreds years by Jewish communities in Spain, Portugal, and Latin American. Today’s Mini Monday story time, “Buen Shabat, Shabbat Shalom”, introduces us to some Ladino words as we learn how Jewish families celebrate Shabbat every week!
