A very special project for me, where I got a chance to have 13 musicians from Israel, India and UK to collaborate. ‘Shabbat Shalom’ is based on a jewish prayer, sung in the synagogue every Shabbat – the jewish rest and prayer day. ‘Shabbat Shalom’ is a common greeting on Friday evening or throughout the day until evening on Shabbat (Saturday). You are wishing someone peace on the Shabbat or wishing them the peace that the Shabbat itself brings if you observe it. The song is a prayer to the universe, the almighty, where the devotee longs for union with the beloved of the soul. Special special thanks to Ethno India, where it all started!
