Job description: Responsibilities

The Workers Compensation Representative will be responsible for handling a case load of approximately 150 established New York complex litigated claims. Duties include daily processing of mail including medical bills, legal notices, other misc. mail, tackling Alerts in adjuster center. Responding to NY Treatment/PARS request utilizing Ecase. Participating in legal seminars and presentations.

Qualifications

• All candidates must have at least 2-5 years of experience handling workers’ compensation claims for the state of New York.
• Have knowledge in processing NY Treatment/PARS requests.
• Adjuster should be well versed in using a diary system to work/maintain their claim files.
• Practice good customer service in returning calls within 24-48 hrs.
• Mindful of deadlines with mandatory reserve reviews & workflow in general.
• Good Orgranizational Skills.
• Able to mulit-task and meet deadlines.
• Able to travel to the Corporte Office at least once a year.
