We are looking for a creative and resourceful seasoned Product Designer to join our Commercial Bank Digital Experience Design team.
The ideal candidate will create best-in-class digital product experiences across various financial touch points, channels and entire eco-systems while participating in the end-to-end design process. You will uphold the tenets of leading with empathy and customer-centricity as you work with product managers, engineers, researchers, writers, designers, marketing, legal, and senior business executives to transform end-to-end customer experiences.

Location – Onsite New York, NY or Palo Alto, CA – Hybrid/Flexible Work Arrangements
We have started coming back into the office on a hybrid basis (though flexible!) with the candidate expected to be based in either NYC or Palo Alto. Note: is not a fully remote role.
Role and Responsibilities – This is an individual contributor leadership design role
- Communicate complex information using interaction design tools, including journey maps, storyboards, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, etc.
- Execute a variety of design tasks to align with our product deadlines
- Apply, maintain, and build upon design systems to ensure consistent designs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, subject matter experts, copywriters, and legal
- Understand and document user research findings and iterate designs based on feedback
- Deliver wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity screens, and visual assets to support the
product development process
- Create click-through prototypes, presentations, and videos to showcase product vision and get buy-in from key stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Minimum +5 years of relevant professional industry (non-academic/internship) experience in digital product design / UX design related field
- An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
- Ability to communicate abstract design concepts visually and verbally in a clear and engaging manner
- Proficiency in design, prototyping, and presentation software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Invision, and Keynote
- Experience in the application of design systems such as Material Design
- Experience working with Product Management and Development teams
- Experience working across multiple platforms (e.g., products, websites, mobile apps, etc.)
The softer Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment balancing and managing diverse stakeholder needs
- Ability to collaborate across various functional areas in the organizations and make the case for change through design
Nice to have ‘ s
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Digital Product Design, Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
- Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology
- Familiarity with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design
- Familiarity with financial services
- Technical knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Video editing skills (iMovie, FinalCutPro, or other video editing software)
