Overview
Responsible for promoting business relationships beween the company and Fortune 1000 customers that often have a global scope. Focus on gaining new accounts and development of sales strategies to solve high level customer issues related to technical consultation, workflow analysis, print optimization, managed document services and enterprise content management.
Given the nature of the position, the Company has identified this role as a remote (virtual) position, and thus expects you to work from your home. Regular business hours are generally Monday -Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM.
This position is fully remote but candidates must live in New York or New Jersey.
Responsibilities
– Interfaces with C-Level executives to manage contract negotiations.
– Coordinates local and international resources to drive sales strategies related to technical workflow analysis and account planning for customers who often have global requirements.
– Performs extensive customer needs analyses and site surveys for preparation of proposals, presentations and product demonstrations. Responsible for providing field intelligence to internal resources which will include necessary escalations to management.
– Coordinates resources such as Marketing, Sales, Service, Administration, Legal, and IT Reporting.
– Manages customer relationships and develops higher level customer contacts.
– Identifies key business opportunities.
– Develops strategy plans.
– Conducts joint planning sessions with the global team and develops long and short-term plans.
– Manages master contract.
– Responsible for assigned revenue and profit targets.
– Conducts quarterly business reviews.
– Manages Global Sales process and total customer satisfaction.
– Provides timely and accurate forecasts.
– Provides regular reporting on customer and industry trends, challenges, etc.
– Tracks, manages, and resolves customer escalations.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience.
– Degree in business preferred.
– Major/National Account industry sales experience, optimal written, vocal and presentation skills.
– Progressive responsibility in sales, industry and marketing experience.
– Extensive knowledge of Canon products and competitors.
– The ability to work autonomously and have excellent relationship management skills.
– Strong communication skills including the desire to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses.
– May require up to 80% national travel, including overnights (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary).
In accordance with New York City law, we are providing the anticipated base salary for this role, if filled in New York City: $81,890 – $122,620. This role is eligible for a commisions under the terms of an applicable plan and a transportation allowance.
