The opportunity

The Herbert Smith Freehills New York office is accepting applications for our 10 week 2023 Summer Program. Summer associates are asked to select a primary practice group from among our litigation, international arbitration and finance offerings, and have the option to work on other matters with different practice groups. Our summer associates will receive hands-on experience working on case teams with partners and associates and will have similar responsibilities as a junior associate. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional grades, will be involved in student organizations and/or journals, and have a commitment to the school’s diversity initiatives.

Summer associates will be placed with one of our main practice groups: litigation, international arbitration or projects offerings. Summer associates will have the opportunity to work on other matters with different practice groups.
