Job description: The stunning Conrad New York is looking for a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to join the team!

Stay inspired and join the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of Lower Manhattan, featuring 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining.

In this role, you will oversee all operations of the 3 food and beverage outlets (Atrio Restaurant, Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar, and In-Room Dining). Additionally, you will oversee the events, culinary, and back of house teams. You will manage a team of 100 and report directly to the Hotel Manager.

The ideal candidate will be an engaging and energetic leader with the ability to drive creativity and a talent for training and developing others. At least 2-3 years of food and beverage experience as a Director in luxury hotels is required. Prior experience managing a union staff is a plus.

What will I be doing?

• Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
• Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
• Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
• Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
