Our client is a large, PE Backed apparel company in a growth phase, that designs, markets, produces, and distributes a distinguished portfolio of branded and private label apparel brands throughout North America.
They are currently searching for a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to jin their growing team! This role is responsible for the day-to-day financial support of wholesale apparel. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities
- Maintain real time insight into financial performance, i.e., “Know the month, quarter, etc.”
- Drive Sales to set aggressive targets based on probing every possible channel and tactic, e.g., open to sell, orders that can be moved up
- Optimize inventory through retail performance analysis and forecasting to ensure that supply is available to meet demand for replenishment and chase opportunities
- Ensure that Salespeople are on top of their numbers Creating sales tools that enable effective profitability analysis, sales forecasting and reporting
- Develop and complete periodic and ad hoc reports that provide transparency into Division P&L, performance and projections
- Provide strategic direction and guide the Division VP in the development of plans that will materially impact results
- Collaborate with other Financial Planning & Analysis colleagues to propose, brainstorm or adopt techniques that increase revenue and profitability
qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 10-12 years of financial and operational experience preferred
- Strong MSOffice skills required, Power Point and Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working in a structured wholesale or consumer goods environment
- Deadline driven and detail oriented
